Toys in the early 1900s

The early 1900s were very different from today. Toys, even though they have many possibilities, were the delight of children around the world. Explore the history of toys, as required by the story go.

President Theodore Roosevelt was the beginning of the "Teddy Bear". In 1902, the toy said "Teddy" after the nickname of the president. The teddy bear was known worldwide, and is still known and loved. It 'was only a few years later, when theteddy bears were mass-produced.

Crayola crayons have been made for the first time in 1903 by Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith.

In 1913, an item called set Erector was invented. It 'was a steel motor toys that children can use to build models of everything. Its creator was AC Gilbert, a doctor.

Charles Pajeau created a similar set of wood called Tinker Toys in 1914. Tinker Toys for children was made.

Raggedy AnnDolls first time on stage after newspaper cartoonist Johnny Gruelle reproduces the doll made for his daughter. It was 1915.

The following year, an architect son John Lloyd Wright called, invented Lincoln Logs, blocks to make structures.

Polystyrene was invented in 1927, and is the type of plastic which was early for the manufacture of toys.

Scrabble was developed by a game called Criss Cross, by Alfred M. Butts invented in 1931. He became known as Scrabble by James Brunot bought the rights of trademark Butts and a game with this new name. Now more than a million Scrabble games are purchased each year in North America.

In 1935, ParkerBrothers introduced Monopoly. This game has become so popular that there are many different clones of this game, many of which are equally popular.

The Master View, a three-dimensional display was created by a camera enthusiast named William Gruber. The toy was popular Disney characters, Gruber do even if licensed, the 3-D images from Disney films and television programs.

Finally, in 1940, aircraft were mass-produced. It 'started as a way for producers to sellAircraft, the military, but later taken as a toy.

The toys that we know and love the time had their roots in these old. Is not it interesting to know that if it were not for all these creative people, most of the games we know today would never have been?
